I would like to express my gratitude by providing facts. I feel immensely proud of being a part of our IFTS community that has empowered me to achieve success in my career. I can proudly say there is a distinct “Life before IFTS” and “Life after IFTS.” Coming from a science background with no knowledge of trade, I dedicated two months of my life to IFTS, and in return, Sir gave me the life that I have now. I began my trade career as a processor with ANZ Bank and have now progressed to the position of Senior Manager of Trade Operations. Lastly, I would like to appreciate Sir for the multiple roles he has played in society and for giving life to over 400 candidates like me.

Before joining IFTS, I had experience only in Export Collections during my 3.1 years at TCS. After enrolling in IFTS, I gained complete knowledge of Letters of Credit, INCOTERMS 2020, and various trade finance concepts in depth. Each section was taught in simple and clear English with practical examples, which made the topics easy to understand. The quizzes after every module helped me test my understanding, and even the tricky questions became easier to grasp. If you have any doubts during the record section classes or while attempting the quiz questions, you can note them down and ask your mentor—he will clarify everything immediately and explain it in a way that matches your understanding. I am happy to share that, with the support and guidance from IFTS, I have secured a placement at HSBC as an Assistant Manager with a very good package. The IFTS CDCS Training program provided me with a comprehensive understanding of trade operations, equipping me with the skills and knowledge to excel in the field. The program’s emphasis on practical applications and real-world scenarios was instrumental in my success on the CDCS (Certified Documentary Credit Specialist) exam and in securing lucrative job opportunities at multinational corporations like ANZ, JP Morgan, and BANK OF AMERICA. One of the best career decisions I made was in 2009 when I sought the right foundation for my upcoming career. The day I decided to pursue CDCS Training at IFTS marked a pivotal moment. This accomplishment further streamlined my career path. After completing my graduation, I was uncertain about my career path until a friend recommended IFTS. I enrolled in their training program, which proved instrumental in understanding Trade Finance products and services. This foundation not only secured my first role in a Global bank Operations team but also facilitated my achievement of the CDCS certification. Now, with 12 years of experience as a proud Trade Finance professional, I am thriving in my role in Spain for BNP Paribas Middle Office. I credit much of my success to the comprehensive training and support I received. For anyone aspiring to build a career in Global banking, IFTS comes highly recommended.
